What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments

Should visitors leave comments on our site, we gather the information displayed in the comment form, alongside the visitor's IP address and browser's user agent details to aid in identifying spam.

A coded version of your email address (known as a hash) may be given to the Gravatar service to check if it's in use. You can find the Gravatar service's privacy policy here: [Insert Your Privacy Link]. Once your comment has been accepted, your profile picture will become publicly visible within the context of your comment.

Images & Media

Should you contribute images to our site, please refrain from including images that have embedded location details (such as EXIF GPS). People browsing the site may download and extract any location data from the images on our site.

Digital Cookies

When you leave a comment on our platform, you have the option to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. This means you won't have to re-enter these details when commenting again. These digital cookies are stored for one year.

If you access our login page, a temporary cookie will be created to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal information and is discarded once you close your browser.

When logging in, we also create several cookies to save your login data and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen preference cookies last for one year. Should you choose "Remember Me," your login will remain for two weeks. If you log out, the login cookies will be deleted.

If you edit or publish content, another cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie doesn't contain personal information but simply identifies the ID of the content you've just modified. It will expire after one day.

Content From Other Platforms

This site might feature embedded content such as videos, images, articles, etc. This content from other sites behaves as if the visitor has accessed the other site directly.

These sites might collect data about you, utilize cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and supervise your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you are logged into that site.

If you leave a comment, both the comment and its associated metadata are stored indefinitely. This helps us to recognize and approve any related comments without delaying them in a moderation queue.

For individuals who register on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal information they offer in their user profile. All users can view, modify, or delete their personal data at any time (username changes are not allowed). Site administrators can also view and modify this information.

Your Rights Concerning Your Data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can ask to receive a downloadable file containing the personal information we have about you, including any information you have given us. You may also request the deletion of any personal information we have about you. This doesn't encompass data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
